The Printing House Hotel & Parking Garage is part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton. Currently under construction, the 11-story hotel will offer nearly 200 guest rooms as well as provide ground-level retail, three parking levels, restaurant and lounge, rooftop pool and more. Guests will enjoy views of the Nashville skyline during their stay in Music City, USA.
Architectural precast concrete panels were created using a custom formliner which created three-dimensional ribbed elements in both vertical and horizontal patterns to create visual contrast and interest on the exterior façade. The panels on the hotel are pre-glazed with various panels protruding beyond the surface. The protruding panels, in conjunction with the ribbed elements, create depth and additional dimension on the façade with their design and ability to play with light; thus, showcasing the beauty and artisanship of the design and product fabrication.
Located in the heart of downtown Nashville, just blocks away from the Ryman Auditorium, the hotel offers a place to block out the noise and still be in the middle of it all. The precast panels provide noise reduction that helps guests rest while they are amongst the hustle and bustle of busy city life. The custom panels also create a unique design that sets the hotel apart from others in the area. The design is a modern but classic style and is efficient and resilient because of precast concrete’s flexibility and nearly limitless design capabilities.
