Florida Ballpark at Alfred A. McKethan Field

The University of Florida’s baseball stadium, Florida Ballpark at Alfred A. McKethan Field, in Gainesville, Florida, is one part of the university’s plan to enhance the overall experience of players and spectators in their athletic facilities. The $55 million, 7,000-seat, 135,000-sf stadium features all of the modern amenities a player and fan could imagine. GATE Precast produced precast concrete risers bearing on 16" raker walls at the lower level and on structural steel at the upper level. Additionally, GATE's structural plant in Jacksonville, FL, provided the front precast concrette walls at the lower level that separate the field from the seating and provided precast walls for the dugout tunnels.
